I graduated in the top three percent of my class in the College of Visual Art and Design at University of North Texas with a 3.96 GPA. I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts in photography studying under Dornith Doherty and Brent Phelps at UNT after earning an Associates of Art degree in photography studying under O. Rufus Lovett at Kilgore College. I am familiar with Canon and Nikon digital SLR cameras and have extensive experience with scanning positive and negative film (35mm, 6x6cm, and 4?x5?), Inkjet printing up to 40?x40?, importing to Adobe Lightroom and Bridge, assigning meta data, building and printing from digital internegatives and interpositives, color balancing and Photoshop CS3 post-production. I spent a semester as an interning assistant at Holly Johnson Gallery in Dallas, TX. I handled the digital work flow for Holly including Photoshop image retouching, scanning and digital archiving of periodicals and maintaining the gallery database and website. I am trained and experienced in studio portraiture and tabletop strobe lighting techniques as well as lighting for location portraiture and architecture using strobes and floods. I am familiar with Dyna-lite, Profoto, Speedotron and White Lighting power packs as well as Alien Bee, Speedotron and White Lighting variable power monolights. I have extensive experience using location grip kits including flags, reflectors and diffusers of variable sizes and materials, superclamps, triangle stands and C-stands.
